I have a description coming in from my vendors that not consist. Sometimes I get TKT or Ticket in a cell. No sure which function to use.

If c3 contains TKT or Ticket. Then return TKT in d3.

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hello Kevin,

Perhaps the following formula placed in D3 and dragged down as far as needed will do the task for you:-
Code:
=IF(OR(C3="TKT",C3="Ticket"),"TKT","")

I hope that this helps.

Cheerio,
vcoolio.
