Mark cells in color pending on correct/incorrect values

The code is getting to blurry for a yellow belt exceller as myself. I keep getting wrong values and #####...:confused:


  • Basically I am trying to make the cells in the column ”level” to mark the cell green when the user for example puts in the correct level value (if it matches the value in the column ”hours”). That is, when the value in 521 for example is between 37,7 and 52,8 and the users puts 10 in the level column/cell it marks it as green.

  • If the number is wrong, if the users for example puts in 5, it shows red.

  • Also, wishful thinking perhaps, if the value if close to the next upper level, for example if the hours is 52, the cell should be marked as orange as it is a critical level.

Sounds like you need to use conditional formatting with a formula. Have you used conditional formatting before?
