Match two cells in a different table - bring back top value

I need a formula for this example

Cell - Value
A29 - FY14-2 - match if this value is in the first column then
B29 - FY14-3 - and match if this value is in either second, third, fourth and etc....

Match the two cells to the below table and bring me back the value of the top row = answer would be 2

Separate table
Column 1 column 2 column 3
1 2 3
FY14-1 FY14-2 FY14-3
FY14-2 FY14-3 FY14-4
FY14-3 FY14-4 FY14-5
FY14-4 FY14-5 FY14-6

Assuming that your separate table is in columns G,H and I starting from row 1, I suggest you join them together in column J with =G1&H1&I1
Now enter =MATCH(VLOOKUP(A29&"*"&B29&"*",J1:J4,1,FALSE),J:J,0) in any cell to get the row number 2.
