Question: I'm getting "The OLE DB provider "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 has not been registered." I assure you , I have "Microsoft Office 12.0 Access database engine Object Library" selected.

I see conflicting information on the web regarding this issue. Some say it may be an issue with 64bit vs 32bit operating systems. I'm running a 32-bit Vista system.

Please advise.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Do you have Office 2007 installed?
Also, is there a reason for not continuing your question on EE? ;)

Hi Rorya,

Yes, I have the question open in EE. I can go there for the answer if you would answer there. Yes, let's do that.

You didn't answer my question about Office 2007?
(I wasn't suggesting you had to go back to EE necessarily, just curious as to why you'd switched.)

Yes, I have Office 2007 installed. I'm using the Visual Basic IDE embedded in Excel to write the VBA scripts. I posted the question here as well as in EE. I like the responses here on this forum since they are specific to Excel. I would have awarded points to the individual who responded to my question in EE regardless of whether I received an answer earlier elsewhere. I'm just looking for a solution, I don't care where I get the answer.

and in the Code Cage I see. ;)

as they are in the Excel TA at EE surely?

Understood! :)
I have no idea though as the provider should have been installed with Office 2007 so if you have that installed on the machine running the code, it should be fine.
