Hey!

I have the following function counting the occurrences of "x" within a certain date range:
=COUNTIFS(O8:AX8,"x",$O$7:$AX$7,">="&$A$4,$O$7:$AX$7,"<="&$B$4)

I would like for the function to count the occurrences of "x", "LE", "L", and "B".

Can I get it to do that?

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Yes. You may *MANY* criteria to the COUNTIFS. However, all of your ranges references must be the same size.

=COUNTIFS($O$8:$AX$8,"x",$O$8:$AX$8,"L",$O$8:$AX$8,"B",$O$7:$AX$7,">="&$A$4,$O$7:$AX$7,"<="&$B$4)

Try...

=SUM(COUNTIFS(O8:AX8,{"x","LE","L","B"},$O$7:$AX$7,">="&$A$4,$O$7:$AX$7,"<="&$B$4))
