Need Flagging Formula to Return "First" or "F

Hello. You guys all rock!

My data column has a series of numbers - sorted in ascending order.

I want to create a formula column that:

Returns a "First" for the first appearance of a number;
Any subsequent appearance of the same number will return a "First+"

this should be easy, right?

B2 = IF(COUNTIF($A$1:A2,A2)>1,"First+","First")

Copy B2 down.

For simplicity, you may just want to start with the proposed construction in Cell b1, to wit
="First"&IF(COUNTIF($A$1:A1,A1)>1,"+","")

and copy down. This may help avoid sloppy copy and pasting problems down the road
