Hi all,

I hate even asking, because I know the answer is in here somewhere, but I don't know what to call the function I'm looking for.

Basically, I want to create a drop box with a list of options in a cell. I would rather not use the control box to do so because it's a pain to cut & paste and it makes my file too big. I have an old file someone created a long time ago that does what I want, but I can't figure out how to edit it.

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Look for information on Data Validation List. This is probably what your friend used.

Now I just have to figure out how to enter the different options.
