# Only sum positive number in a range

#### getafix40

##### New Member
Hi

This seems so simple but I cannot work it out.

Here is my formula

=SUMIF(StockSheet!\$AE:\$AE,C1,StockSheet!\$AH:\$AH)

Where would I place the ">0"

AE is a column of salesman names, C1 is the salesman name and AH are the values I want to add. Sometimes there are negative values that I dont want to add

Regards

### Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
.
.

=SUMIFS(StockSheet!AH:AH,StockSheet!AE:AE,C1,StockSheet!AH:AH,">0")

If you are using Excel 2007 or a more recent version try

=SUMIFS(StockSheet!\$AH:\$AH,StockSheet!\$AH:\$AH,">0",StockSheet!\$AE:\$AE,C1)

Hope this helps

M.

Thanks for the replies. marcelo's formula worked a treat.

I am assuming the S means multiple criteria in the formula, not just a single criteria.

Cheers
