Hi,

I am a beginner to MS Access, trying to complete a simple project.

I have created tables and Queries, and the final output is generated in a table "GrossSalary". Actual data in Salary and OT tables are only 5 lines, however output is generated for 20 lines.
We have 4 different OT amounts are Calculated and the output is generated for each employee 4 times.
Please advice how to fix the issue

I cannot upload the Access Data base - please help

Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.

Answer was given at AWF.
Without seeing the data, the answer seems sort of obvious - OP has a Cartesian result: 4 records in one table x 5 records in other table = 20 records

Howdathappen? OK, when trying to repeat the fact in different places...
Too bad this forum 'masks' the url, otherwise I might have noticed and had time to fix it.
EDIT - I have to retract that last statement...still trying to get used to this new-fangled look here.
