I am a little rusty so forgive me if I am missing the completely obvious.

If there are 3 Columns:
Coulmn A is Target Stock Level
Column B is Current Stock Level (Which can be 0, > & < Column A).
Column C is Column A Minus B.

So I assume I can do the following via conditional formatting.
I don't want to add any further columns because the sheet is linked to a couple of google appsheets
When and item in Column B reaches 50% of Column A, the cell in Column C turns red. When it is above this amount it remains Green.

I would want to change this percentage depending of the part but I assume that just means highlighting them individually.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

No the formula didn't appear to work. This is what I used ="K2<=M2*50%"
K is B
M is A
I would be C.

Excel Facts

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Excel added those. But not to worry I have now sorted and got it working as I wanted using the following:
=(K2<=50%*M2)
=(K2>50%*M2)
