Pivot Chart - Formatting Data Series

I have a Pivot Chart (Type Stacked Chart). I have 3 data series "Yellow", "Green", and "Red". I can format the data series (Borders and Areas), so that the color matches the Series name. However, whenever I save and then reopen the Chart the data series format reverts to the original.
