A colleague is using pivot tables to present data that has been collected from evaluations. Some of the fields on the original form allow for free-standing text (without a character limit). Some evaluations have more than 255 characters in that field, which is truncated in the PT. Can anyone suggest a work-around for this?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Don't use a pivot table? :)

Where are the long text fields being placed in the pivot - values area or row/column fields?

Why do you have two accounts? That is against forum rules, so which one do you want to keep?
