Hello everyone,

I've searched the web and the forum on this one but am having trouble getting an answer.

Can anyone tell me if there is a benefit in creating a named range for a data set which is then used to create a lot of Pivot Table reports from on a weekly basis? In the past few months I can see the file growing is size even though the amount of rows & data input stays fairly consistent.

Any suggestions on a better way of dealing with this would be welcome.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

Hi,
More proficient users may give you an answer, however kindly read this link with regards to pivot tables, hope this may shed some lights on the increasing size you are currently experiencing.
