Pivot Tables & Pivot Charts - How To's and Purpose

Hi.

I would like to learn more about pivot tables/charts. Can someone please give me an overview of what is the purpose of the pivot tables/charts? How the data is organized and the ways it can be organized? And any additional information that may be useful.

Also, I would appreciate it if you can recommend sources where I can learn how to create pivot tables and charts.

If you have Excel 2010, you must download Power Pivot....
