Pivottable conditional formatting

Hello all,

I am having some difficulty with my conditional formatting of my pivottable.

Hopefully there is a screen shot of what I am trying to achieve in the link below!!

I am trying to highlight the cells for the affected design zone for each buildzone column

so basically if the I have tried

=ISNUMBER(SEARCH(LEFT(Buildzone,2),affected design zone))


Hope you can help
