Please Explain Arrays To Me

Hello,

I consider myself a borderliner between Advanced and Expert on most things Excel. I am a relative intermediate at VBA, but I am proficient in many other things.

The one thing I have never been able to wrap my head around, or understand clearly, is arrays. How to work with them, how to create them, why they're beneficial over other ways of doing things, etc.

Could anyone help me out in terms of explaining some info on arrays? I've tried reading some online, but most of it is convoluted and difficult to interpret.

Any help is appreciated!!!
