I am new to PowerQuerry. I am connecting to our accounting database via OData. PowerQuerry loads the table just fine, and I am able to apply several different filters, and inside Querry Editor I see the records being filtered, but when I close and load into Excel it returns 0 records.

I noticed that some filters result in this behavior and some do not. For example, I have one column called year, if I filter on it, querry editor displays the records in the editor and when I close and load I see results in my table in Excel. However, if I choose a different column for example Department, and filter on that, querry editor displays the appropriate filtered records, however when I close and load my table in Excel displays 0 records.

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
The PQ editor shows cached records. If you want to see what will be loaded, you need to select the last step in the applied step list, then down the bottom left, select profiling based on the entire dataset, then you may also need to refresh the preview of all tables. You should then see what will be loaded. If it’s not what you expect, work your way back up the applied steps until you find the cause.
