Prefilled cells...something similar to autofill maybe

Is there someway that I can have a row of cells prefilled once the first cell is filled? For example, I have a spreadsheet where column A & B are optional, but once B is filled in, I would like C, D, & E to automatically fill in for each row. The data in C, D, & E depends on the data in B. B will contain names. C, D, & E contains data related to that name that will always be the same. Anyone know if this is possible?

Should be possible.:)

But I think we need to know one important thing - how is the date in C, D & E related to what's in B?

You could use a combination of if() and vlookup()

=if(isblank($b1),"",vlookup($b1,"table with your data","column number")

I used the VLOOKUP. It was pretty simple. I was just unfamiliar with this function. Thanks!!
