Hello,

I would like to prevent duplicate data from being entered in Column 5 across sheets. I have 11 sheets.

Thanks!
Kris

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.

Can you be more specific?

Do you want to prevent duplicate data or do you just want to warn the user that they have entered duplicate data? Prevention will require VBA code whereas a warning may be able to be done with conditional formatting.

Do you want to prevent data in any part of column 5 on one sheet duplicating any data anywhere in any other column 5 or do you just want to prevent the same cell on one sheet (say E7) having the same data as E7 on another sheet?
