Problem with Vlookup

I am using this

=VLOOKUP(A3,'[Marlice Jan 06 figures.xls]Sheet1'!$A:$A,6,FALSE)

Yet, it wont return a value from 'Marlice Jan 06 figures.xls'

Any idea's?
