Protect Excel Running only in a Specific Computer or network and disable to save the excel file.

Hi,

I am trying to protect an excel file to be copied to used by unauthorized person.

* Run only to a specific computer or network.
* Disable to Save the excel File.

Why dont you put password to open?

User should open the excel file so they can use it but we need to make sure that they would not able to copy the excel file when they move to another company.

Hi. Sorry I'm not on this but if workbook needs password to open, can they crack it without opening? I know VBA can crack open password protection but only for sheet protection not for workbook...as I know??

I dont know.. best way is lock all external drives & block all webhosting access. They still able to copy excel by using Save As but still unable to copy out from computer.
