Hi,

I have an access database. I am trying to pull the data from that database to excel workbook and display it. This excel workbook is sits on a shared network drive and will be used by multiple users who will view the data pulled from access.

Is it possible for multiple users to simultaneously access the database and display results in Excel?

Thanks in advance

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
I am an estimator. When ITB's (Invitations to Bid) are received, I log them in Access with a job number, date and time bid is due, contractor name, and the project name and address. I also have check box fields for completed and inactive. Inactive gets checked if we decide not to bid.

I have an Excel spreadsheet that filters and retrieves data for projects that do not have checks in either of the two boxes. The data in the spreadsheet is only updated when I click refresh under the data tab.

I am not in a situation to share Excel spreadsheets with other users, so I cannot address that part of your question.

I am looking at possible options for multiple users accessing MSAccess database simultaneously and showing the results in excel.

I don't think multiple users can concurrently use an excel file directly for viewing and updating. So, I am thinking of using Access as DB and Excel for front-end.

If I leave out Excel and proceed with only Access, can multiple users open that shared access application and submit data to DB? Is it possible for multiple users to view data by running queries in parallel?
