Question RE: sample MS Gantt chart template

I am using the Gantt chart template (Date tracking Gantt chart) and there is an error in how the chart fills in the days to complete a task. The following formula is used: =IFERROR(IF(LEN(Milestones[@[No. days]])=0,"",IF(AND(J$5=$E9,$F9=1),Milestone_Marker,"")),""), where Milestones[@[No. days]] is 3, $E9 is 6/15/2020, $F9 is 1

If the project starts June 15 and is estimated to take 3 days, then shouldn't the boxes for June 16, 17, 18 be filled in? Can anyone troubleshoot this formula for me? See attached image. Thanks.
