re-setting default chart options in excel 2003

hello I recently changed the default chart settings in excel because i had to make a lot of graphs with identical layouts, assuming that it would be easy to reset the default chart option but I can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone know how?

Welcome to the forum,

Select some data and press F11 this will create a chart sheet from the Chart Menu select Chart Type on the left click the Columns and the first one in the columns is the default then at the bottom select Use as Default Chart.
