References to cells containing hyperlinks

Can anyone help me with this?

If I put a web hyperlink e.g. www.google.com in cell A1, and then reference this cell in another cell (=A1, or as part of an "IF" formula), then the web address appears but it is not hyperlinked). Are there any ways round this?

Have you tried the HYPERLINK function?

=HYPERLINK(A1)
