I have a Save routine macro in a ‘large’ workbook that takes a lot of time to complete (i.e. execution of the Save As statement(s) takes a lot of time).<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o> </o>
I would like to indicate to the user that the save is in progress and to please wait for it to complete. I already use the Status Bar = “Processing (saving) . . . PLEASE WAIT”, but the Status Bar is not very conspicuous (rather small and at very bottom of screen).<o></o>
<o> </o>
1. Is there a way to change the format (size, color, blink, etc) of the Status Bar?<o></o>
2. Is it possible to display a message box while the save is actually taking place?<o></o>
3. Is it possible to display a progress indicator while the save is actually taking place?<o></o>
4. Any other workarounds or suggestions?<o></o>
<o> </o>
Just looking for a good way to let the user know that something IS happening and to just wait.<o></o>
<o> </o>
As always, any help/suggestions are appreciated!!<o></o>
