When I open my file in Excel 2007, I get a pop-up that says:
This workbook contains one or more links that cannot be updated. To change the source of links, or attempt to update values again, click Edit Links. To leave the links as is, click Continue.

If I click continue, I see a list of several sources but no errors. I had an error the first time I opened this file today because I had renamed a source file. I pointed to the renamed file and problem solved. But this message keeps popping up every time I open the file. What gives?

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
some of the links can be quite hidden, like in graphs, or even in the macro's to be run (say a macro attached to a button)

Try editing the links and pointing the file to itself. That often cures it.

Save the file under a new name to test and see if all is well.
