I need help please.

I need to group pairs of rows in my excel (2010) spreadsheet.
The first row are headings. I have multiple columns of data.
The even rows have values in every column (A-H).
The odd rows have a value in only one column G.
In column G in the even row, is a barcode. In the odd rows, I have the barcode data in clear type.
I want to print barcodes directly to a product, not to a label, so the barcode makers I've researched aren't suitable, and I need the even (row 2) and odd (row 3) data to remain together but I need to sort on Column A (Item name).
I have over 6000 rows in my spreadsheet.
Is there a way to group every even and odd row together?
