Set Range Value using worksheetfunction.Vlookup

I am receiving the error "unable to get the vlookup property of the worksheet function class" on the line below.

Code:
Set sampleSet = Application.WorksheetFunction.VLookup(sampleVar, TblRng, 2, False).Address

I suspect there are a few problems with the way the line was written. My overall goal here is to obtain the row value for the string Sample Var within the range TblRng. Is there perhaps another route to obtain the address to the cell corresponding to the value returned in the vlookup?

Thanks

Remove from the beginning of your code line: "Set " so your revised code line reads as follows...

sampleSet = Application.WorksheetFunction.VLookup(sampleVar, TblRng, 2, False).Address
