Happy New Year everyone!

It's a balmy -9 degrees with wind chill of -36 in my neck of the woods today.

I haven't worked a great deal with the Share Workbook function in Excel. How does it work? If two people are in a file simultaneously and each person is making changes, how are both indivudals' changes saved to the file? Second, what would cause a Shared document to open as Read Only? Lastly, if this file is housed on SharePoint, does anyone know if multiple people can still be in the file making changes?

Thank you for your help!!

Jasmine
