I can probably simplify it for you a bit, if you haven't learned how to declare variables and what not the code would look like:

Sub AAA()
   Sheets("Sheet1").Copy after:=Sheets(Sheets.Count)
   ActiveSheet.Name = Format(Now, "mm-dd-yyyy")
End Sub
