Signature line converts with Adobe PDF

I have an Excel document that I convert to PDF. I then need to insert a signature line in Adobe so I can send it out with Adobe Sign. Is there a way to have a signature line convert with the PDF, vs having to always place it in?

I don't know about Adobe Sign, but inserting a signature field in a PDF can be done with the Acrobat API, however that's only available if you've installed Acrobat Pro. Code here:

Hello, We have an excel macro (vba) that converts our worksheet to pdf. However, we are trying to figure out a way to add signature boxes to the converted pdf file in an automated fashion. Can this be done via VBA? If so, how? TIA, Jay
