Hello all , im wanting to get a function that will subtract from cell B2 always .
Results are in col C.
Cell B2 needs to be locked (not sure of the right term to use).
Subtract B3 from B2 =22
Subtract B4 from B2 =43
Subtract B5 from B2 =48
Subtract B6 from B2 =51
Etc

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Just need to set up the formula the right way:
=$B$2-b3

The dollar signs make the reference absolute, so it doesn't change

How did you get 2 results of 22 at the top of column C?

Ok, then do you want it to be like this:

This formula entered in C3 and copied down:

=B$2-B3
