"Slicers" in 2007?

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying

Sorry to stay that slicers do not work in Excel versions prior to 2010.

If you open up a workbook that was created in 2010 with slicers, you just get blank squares where the slicers should appear.
