Hi,

I am wondering if anyone here knows if there is any way possible to recreate the 'Double Click to Source Data' event on a pivot table.

For instance, I have created a few tables using sumif and countif etc etc, I would like to recreate the 'Double Click to Source Data' event within this table allowing users to get a capture of the data without having to sift through 50,000+ records.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advanced.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
switch on record macro and do your double click to source data, stop the macro, examine the code

Hi oldbrewer,

Thanks for your reply.

I have already tried that and it only gives this line of code:

Code:
Selection.ShowDetail = True

Actually I misread your question, sorry.

You are taking raw data and analysing it, and producing a number of "summary tables" for users to peruse.

I suspect that data you are not analysing and reporting is wanted by other users.

Try making a pivot table from the data - this will allow users to cut the data how they like.
