Excel Gurus,

Lets say that i have a column that has text data (some of which have strikethroughs). When i create a pivot table using that data, the strikethroughs are not coming through. How can I resolve this issue?

Eg.
Address
1004 N. Josey Ln.
1200 S. Randall Ave

When i do a pivot, the 1200 S. Randoll Ave does not show the strikethrough.

Please advise. Thank you in advance!

As far as i know pivot tables don't take into account source formatting, if you want to filter out everything with a strike-through from your pivot you will need to add a column to your source data identifying what has and has not been struck-through and then filter this out of the pivot - but would be happy to be corrected by one of the experts

Hello Dave87,

I understand that pivot table does not account for source formatting. However, I am looking for a way where the pivot table retains source formatting. I need the strike through data to show in my pivot table.

And thank you for your response!
