hi, i want to calculate the weighted average maturity of a list of contracts as at a certain date for multiple dates.

In col A, i have the day the contract started, colum b the maturity in years, and column c the amount of the contract. I want to calulcate month end weighted average maturities. Notmally i would sumproduct columns b and c and devide by the sum of C. But the condition of the date is confusing me. What is the best formula to use?

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
You can add Date conditions to sumproduct, did you want current month only?

If you can post some sample data?
