I am having an issue with "Too many arguments". I have a set of data that I need to know the quantity of items that meet two different criteria sets and the sum of said items from a range. The second criteria set is a value range, example - ">=25000",Range,"<=100000". I cant seem to make it work.

=COUNTIFS(G3692:G4426,"Fixed",">=25000",M3692:M4426,"<=100000")
=SUMIFS(G3692:G4426,"Fixed",">=25000",M3692:M4426,"<=100000")

Where G3692:G4426 is where the first criteria should be met. If met, then I need the values added up in one cell and quantity counted in another cell.

I can get the following to work, but when I add the second criteria for the amount reference I get a"too many arguments" prompt..Help...

=COUNTIFS(G3692:G4426,"Fixed",M3692:M4426,">=25000")

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Try:
Code:
COUNTIFS(G3692:G4426,"Fixed",[COLOR=#ff0000]M3692:M4426[/COLOR],">=25000",M3692:M4426,"<=100000")
Code:
SUMIFS(G3692:G4426,"Fixed",[COLOR=#ff0000]M3692:M4426[/COLOR],">=25000",M3692:M4426,"<=100000")

It looks like that worked for the "countifs" but cant seem to replicate for the "sumifs" throws out a "too few arguments"..

Assuming you want to sum col M try
SUMIFS(M3692:M4426,G3692:G4426,"Fixed",M3692:M4426,">=25000",M3692:M4426,"<=100000")
