I can't figure out why my simple sum formula of =sum(C2:C46) is all of a sudden returning an error, when it works in the neighboring column just fine. Please help!
Thanks.

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
More info: When I click on the "!" to find out about the error, it says "formula referrs to empty cells." Well so does D47 (formula there is the same: =sum(D2:D46) , and that works fine! Also, if I place =sum(C2:C46) anywhere in column A instead of C, then it returns the sum correctly. Any thoughts on solutions?

Oh, wow! You're amazing :). Worked brilliantly. Thanks. Sorry for the dumb question! I really was stumped though. Glad it was a simple fix. Thanks a ton!
