Hi all,

I've been struggling with this for a long while now and I hope someone can help:

I have a PowerPivot table (I'm calling it 'Fruit Sales') and a pivot. I need to calculate a Cost per Fruit for 2012 weighted by Volume sold in 2013. I can create simple measures for this without difficulty.

However, the problem I have is in creating accurate subtotals. Here's an example:

PPVT example.JPG

First, I need to create a 'Weighted 2013 Volume'. Each result needs to be based on the category subtotal for Volume 2013.

Second, I need to create 'Volume x Cost per Fruit 2012' The measure needs to sum the results by category.

At the moment I am only able to derive a Grand Total. I have been looking at SUMX without any success. Can anyone help? It would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Martin
