SUMIFS with DATE in range

Endeavouring to add up the values for rows that match on TeamCode and that the Workday falls in a range.

Let A1 = 'Team1'
Let B1 = '30/11/2016'
Let C1 = B1 - 90 days


Named column ranges:

Workday	ScheduledHours	WorkedHours	TeamCode
21/11/2016	8	11	Team1
21/11/2016	7	5	Team2
22/11/2016	5	3	Team1<strike></strike>
23/11/2016	8	6	Team1<strike></strike>
23/11/2016	8	8	Team2<strike></strike>
24/11/2016	4	4	Team2<strike></strike>

I tried the SUMIFS but cannot get the date range to work

=SUMIFS(WorkedHours,TeamCode,A1,Workday,<=B1,Workday,>=C1)

It says I need to put quotes on the operators, but that doesn't help

=SUMIFS(WorkedHours,TeamCode,A1,Workday,"<="&B1,Workday,">="&C1)
