I have been using the following function {=INDEX(Register!C:E,MATCH("#Name",Register!C:C,FALSE),3)} where #Name is obviously a person's name and in column E is a value associated with the name. The problem that I'm having is there are multiple instances of a person's name and I need to be able to add all of the values in column E associated with each instance of the name. So if the name Bob showed up 3 times with values 1,2, or 3 next to each name the value 6 would be calculated.
Any help would be appreciated.

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
Maybe use SUMIF:
Code:
=SUMIF(Register!C:C,"#NAME",Register!E:E)
