Text Column in Pivot Table

Hello,

I am using Excel 2010

Is it possible to show text in a Pivot table column? I am summarising in Pivot but cannot include the explanatory text in the note column. Can this be done?

Customer | 2009 Sales | 2010 Sales | 2011 Sales | Note
