How can I include the text from a cell (A1) into the body of a message box?
The value in A1 is "DDDD"

Message box syntax I'm trying but does not work.
Excel Formula:
MsgBox("Do you have anything to post for"&Text(A1,"######")&"?"

I get an error highlighed on the word "Text"

The resulting text I'm looking for in the body of the message box is...
Do you have anything to post for DDDD?

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
MsgBox "Do you have anything to post for " & Range("A1") & "?"
I don't get the use of #'s if you want to concatenate text. Also, drop the parentheses unless you expect the msgbox to return a value.

Solution
Text is not a function within VBA. You need to use: WorksheetFunction.Text( etc. )

MsgBox("Do you have anything to post for"&WorksheetFunction.Text(A1,"######")&"?")

Thank Micron. That worked.
