Hi everyone,

I'm trying to convert some data in a column (eg 05/23/2011 US Date format) into 23/05/2011 AU format. I'm using the text to column function in excel 2010.

Whilst recording the macro, it converts everything perfectly, including the date requirement.

However, when I run the macro on a fresh set of text, it converts the text to columns, but some - not all. Please see below:

Why does the text to column conversion work when done manually but won't work as a macro?

Sorry I should have posted that, here is the macro that I recorded:

Selection.TextToColumns Destination:=Range("G1"), DataType:=xlDelimited, _

Columns("H:H").Select
ActiveWorkbook.Worksheets("SHEET1").Sort.SortFields.Clear
ActiveWorkbook.Worksheets("SHEET1").Sort.SortFields.Add Key:=Range( _

End With
Range("E4").Select
End Sub
