hi,

I want to make an inventory list. what i gave right now is in Cell A1,A2, A3 etc i have the item, cells B1, B2, B3 etc if for the amount i have of that item, and Cells C1, C2, C3 etc are for its location. i just type those in as i see them, but i want the final list to be listed alphabetically. is there a way to make it so that cells B14 and C14, for example, are tied to A14, so when i finally sort it alphabetically, if the content of A14 jumps to A4, cells B14 and C14 will go with it to B4 and C4?

thx!

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hello,

If you just sort data by column A in ascending order, the next columns will align with column A automatically. So, in other words, all of it will be sorted, not only column A.
