Timeline colour cells depending on data inputted in a different cell

I would like to colour blank cells depending on the date change in a different cell. Please see table below *** an example.

Very strange, it appears as you want on mine!
Can you post screen shot of conditional format rule.

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
I only starteed using mrexcel last week. I cant attach anything, please advise how you share screen shots?
