Trim in vba

Hi
Trim (VBA function) is not working here. The output message I go is " hello ................ there"
Anything wrong with the code below? Thank you so much

Sub mytrim()
    Dim s As String
    s = Trim("               hello                             there   ")
    MsgBox s
End Sub

That's a long winded way of doing a worksheetfunction.trim or application.trim which I mentioned in post 2. Am I missing something?

My appologies... I didn't fully test the worksheetfunction.trim.
