In Access 2016, I try to follow this howto on ui automation:

But I keep getting that "undefined" error on the function WalkEnabledElements.
It is the first function call after DIM ... as...
Where I get a different error if I do not set the dll reference, so that's not the problem...

Any ideas what causes the error?

Hi, can you post your code and also the complete error. I'm not sure what you mean by "that" undefined error. Is the function undefined or is something else undefined when the function is called? Note that I can't watch youtube videos at work ... what are you trying to learn from this video because the title is not entirely clear either (UI Automation could mean a lot of things depending on what type of UI you are trying to automate).

Thanks...
Sorry yes, not very clear there. I was referencing my post-title "function or sub not definded".
I actually get it in german:

The Help-Button tells me it's error 35:

The problem was, WalkEnabledElements is a user-defined function which i had thought to be part of the DLL...
