I am trying to use a variable to populate the MaximumScale in a chart from a worksheet cell that feeds the chart . Is there any way to substitute a variable for an integer in MaximumScale? Thanks.

<!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: bbcode_code -->
Code:

Sub Chart_Activate()
ActiveChart.Select
With ActiveChart.Axes(xlValue).MaximumScale = 50000 !Variable goes here (Sheet1 Range("B18")
End With
End Sub

</PRE>
<!-- END TEMPLATE: bbcode_code -->
